Two Penza bakeries got a penalty of 1.3 million rubles

Penza, 30 August 2011. PenzaNews. The department of Federal antimonopoly service in the Penza region made the decision about imposing administrative penalty on OJSC "Penza bakery №2" and OJSC "Penza bakery №4" for creation of primary conditions for distributing facilities.

Olga Atjukova, the head of the department of Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia in the Penza region said: "As a result of analysis of the information and the documents received from OJSC "Penza bakery №2" and OJSC"Penza bakery №4" the department antimonopoly service established the contracts signed by the bakeries and buyers contain unequal conditions about terms of change of the price of the goods".

She noticed that the majority of buyers — individual businessmen and limited liability companies — production price changed as soon as the bakeries decided to rise the prices for bread and bakery products. Trade enterprises didn't have time and possibility to coordinate new prices.

She said: "At the same time some trading enterprises have from 14 till 45 days since the moment when the bakery decided to change the price."

According to her, the bakeries sold bread and bakery products to trading enterprises at the price which had been before increase and allowed them to realize goods at less cost as compared with other organizations.

Olga Atjukova said: "OJSC "Penza bakery №2" and OJSC "Penza bakery №4" were accused in abusing of leading position and infringement of part 1 item 10 of the law "Business competition protection" regarding discrimination conditions of realization of bakery products".

She added that the bakeries got administrative penalties of 1 384 642 rubles.
