Penza, 26 September 2011. PenzaNews. The Office of Public Prosecutor of the Penza region inspected financial assets of the enterprises of housing and communal services. The total sum of assets which were inspected is 500 million rubles from March till August, 2011.

Tatyana Ostrovskaya, the senior assistant of the public prosecutor of the Penza region, said: "313 infringements were revealed. More than 23 million rubles were spent, including 10 million rubles of the fund of assistance in reforming of housing and communal services. Thefts of the funds which were made by paying for unfulfilled works, discrepancies of volumes and cost of the executed works Specified in estimates and other infringements were revealed during the inspection".

According to her, 125 representations on the facts of infringements of not legal use of the funds for needs of housing and communal services were written by all public prosecutors. 87 officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility, 12 people were brought to administrative responsibility. 10 resolutions were made according to the article 37 of the Criminal Come of the Russian Federation and 6 criminal cases were initiated.
