The officers of the department of Federal Security Service of Russia in the Penza region and the investigatory department of the Investigatory committee of the Russian Federation arrested one of the residents of Penza who extorted 800 thousand roubles from businessman.

The press-service of the regional government of FSB of the Russian Federation said: "In the beginning of October an individual businessman appeal to the department of Federal Security Service of Russia and informed that his acquaintance offered him to assist in abeyance of check within the limits of criminal case where the businessman was a witness. For this purpose the businessman should give 800 thousand roubles which will be transferred as a bribe to the employee of one of divisions of investigatory department in the Penza region".

The extortioner was arrested by the employees of FSB in the moment of transfer money.

The press-service said: "The malefactor informed that he misled the victim and he didn't have any relations with representatives of Investigatory committee and wanted to use 800 thousand rubles himself".

The investigatory department of management of FSB of the Russian Federation in the Penza initiated the criminal case according to the part 3 article 159 of the criminal code of Russian Federation "Swindle".

The source in the department said: "Now all necessary investigatory-operative actions are carried out to establish all circumstances and participants of the case".
