Penza, 25 October 2011. PenzaNews. Sosnovoborsky district court brought in a verdict of guilty for two female coaches of local Children and Youth Sport School for an attack upon the postman.

Tatyana Ostrovskaya the senior assistant of the public prosecutor of the Penza region said: “Women learned the way of the postman in advance, prepared knives, masks and gloves. On July, 11th, 2011, threatening with a knife, they attacked a female employee of post near the house in Kadadinskaya street. The offenders stole a bag with money for regional social payments and pension, and disappeared”.

The total sum of stolen money was 35 850 rubles.

She said: “The court appointed 2 years 3 months term and 2 years of imprisonment in a corrective penal colony for both women”.

The sentence has not come into legal force yet.
