Zarechny, 2 November 2011. PenzaNews. The city court of Zarecheny passed a sentence on two residents of the Penza region who stole the monuments made of stainless steel from the cemeteries in the spring of 2011.

The press-service of the department said: “Defendants stole two of monuments and got 2 000 rubles and 1500 rubles for them. It caused damage of 10 thousand roubles and 7 thousand roubles for the relatives of the buried people”.

Malefactors got 2.5 years of imprisonment conditionally with a trial period for 2 years.

The press-service said: “Civil claims of victims were satisfied. The sentence has not become operative yet”.
