Penza, 9 November 2011. PenzaNews. The arbitration court of the Penza region supported the decision of Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of Penza about imposing 1.3 million rubles penalty LLC “Penza bakery №2” and LLC Open Society “Penza bakery №4”.

The press-service of Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of Penza said: “It was established that the contracts concluded by bakeries with buyers, contain unequal conditions about terms of change of the price of the goods. For the majority of buyers production price has changed directly after bakeries’ decision about prices for bread and bakery products, without any time and possibility for coordination of the new prices while some trading chains have a term of change of the price for bakery products from 14 till 45 days”.

In June, 2011 by the results of legal investigation the commission recognized that LLC “Penza bakery №2” and LLC “Penza bakery №4” broke the item 10 “About competition protection” as they created discrimination conditions for some enterprises which sell bakery products.

The press-service said: “The instruction about elimination of the infringements of the antimonopoly law was given out. Also according to article 14.31 of Administrative Violations Code of the Russian Federation the bakeries got administrative penalties of 1 million 384 642 rubles”.

Bakeries have appealed against the decision in judicial order, however the arbitration court of the Penza region refused satisfaction of the requirements declared by bakeries.
