Penza, 9 December 2011. PenzaNews. Nikolsky district court pronounced a sentence concerning Michael Koshkin who was found guilty of the infringement of the traffic regulations which led to death of four persons.

Tatyana Ostrovskaya, the senior assistant of the public prosecutor of the Penza region said: “It was determined that on January, 26th, 2011 Michael Koshkin, driving “Audi-A6”, moved on the highway Nikolsk- Gorodische. He didn’t consider the condition of the road exceeded the speed, didn’t manage to drive and moved to oncoming lane and ran into “VAZ-21093”. As the result of collision the driver of VAZ and three passengers died”.

The court found Michael Koshkin guilty of incriminated act and appointed the punishment in the form of 6 years imprisonment in a colony-settlement and deprived the driving license for 3 years.

She said: “Besides, the condemned250 thousand rubles in favor of three victims as indemnification of moral harm and 200 thousand rubles in favor of another victim. The sentence hasn't come into force yet as it was appealed by the condemned in a cassation order”.
