He said: “For various offenses are involved in administrative responsibility of 260 citizens, from them 66 — for small hooliganism, 109 — for occurrence in a drunken state, 22 — for drinking of alcoholic drinks in public places. For management of vehicles in a drunken state 69 drivers are detained, with a material damage is issued 61 road accidents”.

According to Nikolay Sarmina, in the first day of new year during check by employees УМВД of Russia across the Penza region in stopping pavilion in the street Lunacharsky it was revealed and 12 slot machines are withdrawn.

The colonel of police has noticed also that on January, 1st, 2012 because of alcoholic intoxication in the Penza region there were some cases of causing of heavy harm to health of citizens, road and transport incidents to a deadly outcome and fires with human victims.

Nikolay Sarmin said: “New Year and Christmas holidays in area territory proceed, therefore once again I want to call citizens for refusal of abusing alcohol and also to focus attention on observance of fire-prevention safety and vigilance”.

Public order protection 652 police officers, including 34 employees of traffic police carried out, 319 representatives of public associations of a law-enforcement orientation. In venues of New Year's actions the strengthened police squads have been exposed.
