Penza, 11 January 2012. PenzaNews. Employees of Federal Security Service of Russia in the Penza region during have stopped illegal activity of the inter-regional group which members were engaged in plunder of combustive-lubricating materials by illegal insert in the oil pipeline.

The press-service of the regional government of FSS of the Russian Federation said: “Participants of the group in the beginning of December, 2011, using special means, have carried out illegal connection to the pipeline “Ufa — the Western direction” of Oil Transporting Joint Stock Company “Transneft” in Octyabrsky district of Penza near the highway М5 “Ural”. Having got illegal access to transported oil products, the malefactors with a view of the subsequent realization have stolen about 112 tons of products of oil refining cost about 3 million rubles”.

On December, 27th the members of criminal group were caught red-handed by operative group of the Penza management of FSB at the moment of pumping of the next party of combustive-lubricating materials from the pipeline in a gasoline tank truck.

The press-service said: “On the given fact the investigatory department of FSS of Russia initiated the criminal case according to part 3 article 158 of the criminal code of Russian Federation “Theft made from the oil pipeline”.

Now the investigation committee specifies the full volume of stolen oil products and damage caused. The channels of realization of petroleum products are determined, possible accomplices of the criminal activity are established.
