Penza, 16 January 2012. PenzaNews. More than 1 100 checks on supervision over compliance with labour legislation were held in 2011. 10 236 infringements were revealed by the employees of the Office of Public Prosecutor of the Penza region.

“Thanks to public prosecutors total salaries of 120 million rubles were paid to workers of the enterprises”, senior assistant to the public prosecutor of the Penza region Tatyana Ostrovskaya informed the news agency PenzaNews.

She added that 428 representations about elimination of infringements of the legislation were brought, 404 persons faced disciplinary responsibility, 371 persons faced administrative responsibility, and 14 heads were disqualified.

Tatyana Ostrovskaya underlined that the work of the Office of Public Prosecutor of the Penza region directed at the elimination of infringements of the labor legislation, including untimely payment of the salary, will be continued.

She said: “All cases of salary debts can be reported to the hotline at (8412) 56-07-83, 68-53-33, 49-11-21 and 35-13-46”.
