Penza, 26 January 2012. PenzaNews. The Press-service of the department of Federal Agency of safety of Russia across the Penza region has published business details about illegal circulation of the basic parts and accessories for automatic small arms. As it was reported earlier, illegal activity of townsman of Penza has been revealed and stopped in December, 2011.

“As it has been established, the man through forums on the Internet kept in contact with citizens of one of the CIS countries in whom ordered the basic parts extracted from military warehouses and accessories for various updatings of automatic machines of Kalashnikov, Mosin's rifles and Tokarev's pistols for the subsequent resale in territory of Russia,” the press-service of Federal Security Service of Russia for the Penza region.

According to the investigation, the transportation of parts of small arms was carried out with use of doubtful declaring in the international items of mail directed to the address of near relations of the malefactor.

“Further with a sales objective of efficient parts of small arms received from abroad the man placed announcements of their sale on popular Russian weapon sites under the pretext of массогабаритных breadboard models. Sending of accessories to the customers living in other regions of Russia, was made by mail,” the press-service of the department said.

“Criminal case under article 1 para 222 of the criminal code of Russian Federation “Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of the weapon, its basic parts, ammunition, explosives and explosives” was initiated. Now Federal Security Service of Russia together with Interior Ministry held investigation on documenting and suppression of illegal activity accused, and also to revealing of other people involved in illegal circulation of fire-arms,” the press-service said.
