Penza, 3 February 2012. PenzaNews. Leninsky district court of Penza fined female-driver of trolley bus 1000 rubles for sharp braking in result of which the passenger was injured.

“The driver of the trolley bus did not choose the speed providing traffic safety therefore compelled to apply braking which led to falling of an elderly woman in salon. The passenger hurt a head and got damages qualified as little harm to health,” said court press-service.

According to the department, driver’s arguments that road accident was provoked by the car which appeared on the lane of the trolley bus were not taken into consideration.

“The court considered the driver have already committed similar offenses and victim not insisting on deprivation of driver’s license and imposed punishment in the form of 1000 thousand rubles penalty,” specified in press-service.

The decision came into effect.
