Penza, 15 March 2012. PenzaNews. Gorodishchensky district court of the Penza region delivered guilty verdict to the local resident for causing heavy harm to mother’s health which led to her death.

"It is stated that in September 2011 in the evening the man attacked the mother who lived together with him and had bad relations with her son. Being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, he tumbled down her on a floor and put not less than ten blows by hands and feet at her head. From the received physical injuries the woman died at the place of the incident," informed the senior assistant of the public prosecutor of the Penza region Tatyana Ostrovsky.

As she said, during judicial session the malefactor pleaded himself partially guilty, having specified that the cause of death of his mother became the disease of diabetes as the result of coma against alcoholic intoxication. However its version was denied by the proofs investigated during the judicial session.

"At judgment the court took into consideration a position of the state accuser. Pleading the man guilty of commission of crime, provided by item 111 p. 4 of Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, appointed punishment in the form of 9 years imprisonment with serving in a corrective prison of strictly mode," the interlocutor of the agency informed.
