Sergey Buylov Priora's driver having brought down child in Penza ran red light

Penza, 22 March 2012. PenzaNews. The 25-year-old driver of Lada Priora car who brought down the eleven-year boy at crossing of the road in Penza on Tuesday, March 20 ran forbidding traffic light signal at the moment of the accident. The head of the department of traffic police of Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Penza region Sergey Buylov reported about this.

"Inquiry of witnesses of the incident showed that Priora’s driver, moving with an excess of high-speed mode, went round the vehicles which stopped red light on the left roadside and moved further," he specified.

According to Sergey Buylov, driver’s exact speed hasn’t been determined yet, as there is no fixed brake way of the car.

"The injured boy is in reanimation. The state of his health hasn’t changed. The driver of Lada Priora doesn't evade communication with inspectors so there is no reason for arrest now," he added.

Sergey Buylov emphasized that investigation of the road accident is under control of the chief of Office of Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Penza region.

The interlocutor of agency also added that forthcoming Friday, March 23, he plans to take part in PTA meeting at school No. 12 of Penza, where the injured boy studies, to remind parents again that they firstly responsible for children’s life and that they shouldn't leave them without supervision.
