The prosecutor's office of the legitimized instituting criminal proceedings for corruption by investigatory department of investigation of especially important cases of investigatory department of Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation for the Penza region in relation of former Minister of Agriculture of the region Marat Faizov.

“It is established that Marat Faizov, acting for Deputy Prime Minister of the Penza region – the Minister of Agriculture, on March 20, 2012 received personally 200 thousand roubles bribe from the head of commercial organization for the general protection and commission in favor of the businessman of illegal actions concerning contracts replacement,” explained Tatyana Ostrovskaya, the senior assistant of prosecutor of the Penza region.

As it was reported earlier, Pervomaysky district court of Penza chose imprisonment as a measure of restraint of Marat Faizov.
