Penza village Kamenny Brod flooded with thawed snow

Penza, 11 April 2012. PenzaNews. Village Kamenny Brod of Issinsky area of the Penza region is partially flooded because of high water level of the river Issa after a heavy rain and active snow melting on Tuesday, April 10. According to the press service of head department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation on the region, 160 houses in Naberezhnaya street are impounded where more than 390 people live.

“Besides, in the territory of the village there is one social and significant object secondary school. Residents of this area shouldn’t panic, follow precautionary measures and to be ready for evacuation,” specified in the press service.
