Homeless animals have bitten more than 400 people in Penza this year

Penza, 13 April 2012. PenzaNews. 402 residents of Penza were bitten by homeless animals in the first quarter of 2012.

According to the press service of regional government of the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights, this indicator grew by 11.5% in comparison with the similar period of 2011.

“Quantity of injured children also has increased by 45.6%,” noted in the press service.

In department emphasized also that number of the animals who have injured from stings is observed and as a whole on the region.

“For last three months in the Penza region number of victims increased by 4.6%, including children (35.1%),” explained in the press service and specified that indicators increased mostly in Kolyshleysky, Shemysheysky, Vadinsky, Nizhnelomovsky, Bashmakovsky, Kamensk and Nikolsky areas.
