Road accident near Penza: one person died, three injured because of drunk driver

Penza, 30 April 2012. PenzaNews. One person died and three were injured because of the road accident, which happened near Zagoskino village in the Penza region in the evening on Sunday, April 29.

“Drunk 29-year-old driver of “VAZ-2107” with three passengers aged 15, 18 and 22 being intoxicated lost control and the vehicle rolled over in a ditch,” reported the press service of the Office of Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Penza region.

As a result, 22-year-old passenger died on the scene.

“The driver was hospitalized with brain concussion, two passengers got a traumatic brain injury, closed fracture of the ribs and blunt abdominal trauma,” said in the press service.
