Resident of Penza region arrested in Petersburg for false report about bomb in house

Penza, 2 May 2012. PenzaNews. Law enforcement officers of St. Petersburg arrested a resident of the Penza region, who from hooligan motives reported police about a house mining in Krasnoselsky district of the city.

“On April 29, 2012 at 23.35 unknown man called the police control room of Interior Ministry Office and reported that “if police officers do not arrest him, he will blow up house No. 5 building 1 in Spirin street.” The squad of the 9th department of Krasnoselsky district police office arrested 28-year-old unemployed resident of the Penza region, who was exposed as a man reported about a mining from hooligan motives, in the attic of this house down Spirin street,” reported in the press service of Office of Interior Ministry of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

According to the police office, during the inspection the explosives and explosive devices were not found neither inside the house nor in the yard.

“Criminal case institution is under discussion,” added in the press service.
