Penza, 2 May 2012. PenzaNews. Power supply of the consumers who have been disconnected as a result of failures because of hurricane on the territory of the Penza region is almost restored. The press center of Volga branch of JSC “Penzaenergo” reported about it.

“Three air-lines of 10–35 kW voltage remain disconnected in the Penza region as at 19.00 Moscow time on Wednesday, May 2. Currently operative teams finish repairing of high-voltage lines in Gorodishchensky, Narovchatsky and Kuznetsk areas,” reported in the press center.

In total power engineering specialists had to restore several dozens of high-voltage power lines during the day. More than 200 specialists of Penzaenergo branch and over 50 units of special equipment were involved in elimination of consequences of the hurricane.
