Penza, 16 May 2012. PenzaNews. Traffic police clarified circumstances of the road accident which occurred near “Lenta”shopping center in Penza on Wednesday morning, May 16. Mitsubishi, two Toyota and Lexus cars collided on a lane leading from the city center to Arbekovo. According to the inspector on promotion of Office of Traffic Police of Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Penza region Pavel Boltyshev, the driver of the Lexus car being in alcohol intoxication provoked the accident.

“Nobody was injured,” added the spokesman.

As it was reported earlier, the road accident in Stroiteli Avenue in Penza occurred at 8.20 Moscow time. Collision caused hours-long traffic jam stretched for several kilometers.
