Debtor paid 100 thousand rubles alimony after his car arrested in Penza region

Penza, 22 May 2012. PenzaNews. The resident of Spassky area of the Penza region paid 100 thousand rubles of alimony debt for his minor son when judicial police officer had arrested his car.

“According to the court decision the man was obliged to pay alimony for the child at a rate of a quarter of all types of his earnings, but he transferred only 2 thousand rubles, referring to lack of money. He had no official job, but he also refused to visit the employment center. Therefore the debt on alimony was calculated according to average salary across Russia and totaled 209 thousand rubles,” Ksenia Pivovarova, the main expert on interaction with mass media of regional government of Federal Bailiff Service of the Russian Federation.

She noted that the man bought Renault Logan car which was immediately arrested.

“As soon as the debtor found out that his car would be withdrawn and sold, he not only found an official job, but also transferred 100 thousand rubles on account of debt repayment. He promised to transfer the rest sum within two weeks. After that the arrested car will be returned,” the spokesperson added.
