Penza, 23 May 2012. PenzaNews. A driver of a Nissan car disappeared from the scene of the accident which occurred in Bashmakovsky region in the Penza region on Tuesday evening, May 22.

“On the road “Bashmakovo — Zemetchino” the driver of Nissan being in alcoholic intoxication, lost control and the car overturned in a ditch, therefore the passenger of the vehicle died at the scene,” reported in the press service of Office of Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Penza region.

The press-service added that the driver who had disappeared from the scene was arrested by investigation and operative group at 23.30 Moscow time on the same day.
