Penza, 25 May 2012. PenzaNews. The resident of Sokolovka village of Nikolsky area in the Penza region Vladimir Manayev was convicted for illegal imprisonment of a person not connected with the abduction.

“During the court session it was established that in the evening on August 5, 2010 during a quarrel Vladimir Manayev led his wife to a yard, tied her by a chain near a porch and left her there. At 6 am the next day the woman could free herself and informed the police officers about the incident,” reported the senior assistant of the prosecutor of the Penza region of Julia Makarova.

According to her, the man was sentenced to 10 months of imprisonment. Besides, the court collected 10 thousand rubles in favor of the victim as compensation of moral harm the crime had caused.
