11-year-old schoolboy hospitalized in intensive care after car accident in Penza

Penza, 5 June 2012. PenzaNews. An 11-year-old schoolboy was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the regional children’s hospital after a car accident, which occurred in Penza on Monday, June 4.

“At 14.35 near a house in Lermontov Street a driver of VAZ-21074 ran over a minor pedestrian beyond the reach of a pedestrian crossing,” reported the press service of Office of Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Penza region.

As a result of the accident the boy got closed craniocerebral injury, fracture of frontal bone, brain contusion and fracture of the left tibia.
