Seven criminal cases initiated against district police officer in Penza region

Penza, 13 June 2012. PenzaNews. Seven criminal cases on the grounds of an offense under Part 1 of Art. 292 “Forgery by an official” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation initiated against a district police officer of the Department of Ministry of the Interior for Bessonovsky area of the Penza region.

“It is established that in February and March 2012 the police officer drew up seven protocols against seven citizens on the grounds of administrative violation under Part 1, Art. 12.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Pedestrian violation of traffic rules” for crossing Penza – Lunino road in the wrong place,” told news agency PenzaNews senior assistant of the prosecutor of the Penza region Julia Makarova.

She noted that during the inspection held by the District Prosecutor’s Office of Bessonovsky area and survey of citizens in respect of who the protocols were drawn up, it was found out that at the time recorded in the protocols these people had been at home, had not crossed the road in the wrong place and had not been charged.

In addition, they explained that signature and explanation in the protocols of an administrative offense had not been written by them.
