Penza, 18 June 2012. PenzaNews. Two schoolgirls and two students were convicted of a series of thefts of clothing from chain stores of Penza.
“Two schoolgirls of 11th grade and two 2nd-year students went to the store with nail scissors and an office knife prepared in advance. Having chosen the items that interested them, the girls went to the dressing rooms, cut the security devices off, put clothes on and tried to leave the store, but were detained by the security guards,” explained Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the Penza region Yuliya Makarova.
She reported that educational measures were appointed to the schoolgirls: parents’ supervision until the legal age and the prohibition of leaving the house from 22:00 to 6:00.
“The students were sentenced to compulsory labor. Each of the girls is to carry out 120 hours of community service in their spare time free of school,” summed up the agency interlocutor.
