Penza, 27 June 2012. PenzaNews. Two paramedics, a pregnant woman, her husband and 6-year-old brother suffered in a car accident involving ambulance, which occurred in Tarkhanov St. in Penza on Wednesday morning, June 27.

“Automobile “Gazelle” with the ambulance crew and a pregnant woman with her husband and younger brother, was moving in the lane of oncoming traffic with the flash lights on. At that moment, the driver of “Hyundai Solaris” decided to turn off the main road into the yard and hit the ambulance, which overturned on the side,” explained the Outreach Inspector of State Inspection of Road Safety in the Penza region Marina Antipova.

She added that the drivers of both vehicles were not injured; the paramedics and ambulance passengers received minor injuries.

“The circumstances of the accident are investigated. It is still too early indicating the guilty party,” pointed out the agency interlocutor.
