Penza, 7 July 2012. PenzaNews. The Office of Traffic Police Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Penza region detected 1312 traffic violations last Friday, July 6.

“41 drivers arrested for driving while intoxicated, 187 citizens fined for exceeding the speed limit, and 28 fined for violating overtaking rules. Furthermore, 27 scooter drivers were registered ignoring traffic rules,” reported the advocacy group of the Office of Traffic Police Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Penza region.

The ministry added that over the past 24 hours 45 accidents with material damage were registered in the region.

“As a result of six accidents on the roads of the Penza region nine people received injuries of varying severity,” summarized the advocacy group.
