Penza, 11 July 2012. PenzaNews. The police received two reports of false banknotes from stores located in Zheleznodorozhny and Leninsky districts of Penza with a half an hour gap on Tuesday, July 10.

“Both reports stated that during recalculation of cash received in the money collector’s cash bags, false banknotes were discovered. In the first case those were five thousand banknotes, and in the other case — a thousand ruble banknotes,” specified the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Penza region.

The Ministry added that the main features of the false notes are poor quality of paper, absence of protective fibers, and solid glow of the protective picture under ultraviolet ray.
