Four Penza drug dealers to face up to 20 years of imprisonment

Serdobsk, 13 July 2012. PenzaNews. Four residents of Serdobsk district, the Penza region are to stand trial for the illegal cultivation, storing and sale of drugs on a large scale.

According to the Chief Specialist-Expert of Information and Public Relations Group of Federal Service for Drug Control of the Penza region Elena Samorukova, the accused men aged 35–37 planted cannabis on the territory of 1500 sq meters on the edge of the forest in Serdobsk.
“The accomplices were selling manufactured drugs in Serdobsk, Penza, and Moscow. Cannabis was sold only in large quantities, in packs of one kilogram and over. It took the officers of Federal Service for Drug Control of the Penza region about six months to detain the members of the crime group,” explained the agency interlocutor.
She added that during the operation they confiscated about 46 kilograms of cannabis. According to the articles of the Criminal Code, the drug dealers are to face up to 20 years of imprisonment.
