Penza, 17 July 2012. PenzaNews. A resident of the settlement Lunino of the Penza region was found guilty of improper performance of his parental duties to bring up a teenage daughter combined with her mistreatment.

“Being a father of a young daughter, in the period from September 2011 to May 2012, he deliberately did not carry out his parental duties and abused the girl. Living with his daughter, he drank alcohol at home with his friends, turned on loud music at night and beat the girl. The daughter had been living with her neighbors for a long time, while he was not interested where she was and did not provide his daughter financially,” the Senior Assistant Attorney of the Penza region Yuliya Makarova told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She noted that, in accordance with the viewpoint of the public prosecutor, the court sentenced the man to 120 hours of compulsory community service.
