According to eyewitnesses, Daewoo Matiz violated the rule of the road not letting Gazelle, following the main road, pass at the crossroads of Lvovskaya St and 40 Let Oktyabrya St. The collision was so strong that Gazelle rolled over with two passengers inside.

The office on duty of the Traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Penza region clarified that the drivers of the vehicles were not injured.

“Only a passenger of Gazelle was hospitalized with a broken collarbone,” reported in the Ministry.
