“Immediately after Zyuzinsky Court of Moscow granted the request of the investigator of Russian Federal Drug Control Service to take Olga Zelenina into custody, we filed cassation appeals on behalf of the defense and of the accused. However, Olga Zelenina’s appeal was lost,” Natalia Andreeva explained.

“Without the cassation appeal, the court of appeal could not assign the case for hearing. We filed another appeal on September 11 and unexpectedly on September 12, the first one was found. As a result, the case will be heard only on September 24 – that is, two weeks later than the planned date,” the lawyer concluded.

As reported earlier, on Wednesday, August 15, several people (some of them were masked and had weapons) raided the house of the expert Olga Zelenina. Later she was arrested for 48 hours in Lunino, the Penza region.
