No alcohol detected in motorcyclist’s blood who died in accident involving Oleg Totsky

Penza, 20 September 2012. PenzaNews. The investigation office received the results of the blood test of the motocyclist, who was killed in Penza on Friday, September 14, in a traffic accident involving a well-known businessman and social activist Oleg Totsky, on the fact of which a criminal case was opened under part 3, Art. 264 of the Criminal Code “Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles.”
“According to the tests conducted in forensic chemical laboratory of the regional forensic bureau, the blood of the dead man contained no traces of alcohol,” commented the Deputy Head of the Specialized Department of investigation of road traffic offenses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Penza region Vladimir Kharkov on Thursday, September 20.
He added that Totsky’s blood test is conducted in the regional drug hospital and results are not available for the investigation office yet.
As a result of the accident that occurred on Friday, September 14, Oleg Totsky performing a U-turn on a Lincoln car collided with Suzuki-250 motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle, born 1991, died at the scene, and the passenger was taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity.
