Director of Penza cafe accused of bribing police officers

Penza, 2 October 2012. PenzaNews. Officers brought to court the criminal case against the director of Penza cafe, who tried to offer a bribe in the amount of one thousand rubles to police officers.
“The investigation has established that a bartender of one of Penza cafes sold a bottle of beer to the underage. The director of the cafe, who was also a father of the violator, offered the inspectors a bribe of one thousand rubles for letting his son go instead of an explanation in the record,” explained the Senior Assistant of the Head of Investigative Department of Investigative Committee in Penza, Media relations division, Lyudmila Fomina.
She clarified that the sanctions provided by the criminal article for bribing is a fine of 30–60 times the amount of a bribe, and detention of up to eight years.
