Penza, 5 October 2012. PenzaNews. A driver of Toyota RAV4 who was stopped by the traffic police for checking the documents in Izmailov Street in Penza behaved inappropriately and damaged a police car.

“Checking the documents, the police officer found out that the man’s driving license had long expired. In addition, the driver showed signs of intoxication,” reported the press service of the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation in the Penza region.

To draw up an administrative violation report, the driver was invited to enter the patrol car, however, the man kicked the door of the car and then punched its windscreen.

“Moreover, the offender damaged “Vizir” device and tried to escape and even bite the police officers,” the press service explained.

The driver was sentenced to 7 days in prison for the administrative offense. Currently, the issue of initiating criminal proceedings against him is under consideration.
