Penza, 9 October 2012. PenzaNews. Off-grade medication batch was discovered and withdrawn from circulation by the specialists of the Center of certification and quality control of drugs in the Penza region.

Clinic No.59 in Zarechny received a batch of drugs “Thiamine-Vial.” When opened the outer packaging, the inspectors noticed that a part of the ampoules contained some other drug — solution “Ascorbic acid-Vial.” The total number of low-quality medication with label faults was discovered in 33 packages,” reported the press service of the regional Ministry of Health and Social Development.

According to the director of the Center of certification and quality control of drugs Vladimir Egorov, “Thiamine-Vial” is a vitamin of B-group and manufactured on request of LLC “ALVIS” by “Sishui Xierkang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.”

According to the results of the audit by Russian Health Supervision Service in the Penza region, a report was sent to confirm the decision to withdraw the batch from the market.
