29 violations in tobacco products sales registered in Penza stores

Penza, 23 October 2012. PenzaNews. During the third quarter of 2012 employees of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare in the Penza region visited 72 trade and public catering enterprises selling tobacco products.

“Violations were indicated in 29 cases, that is 40%. Exactly the same index was registered in the same period of 2011,” reported the press service of the government.

The press service added that the violations of tobacco products sale were the following: the retail cigarette price was higher than allowed; the products had no price tags or the ones of incorrect format; the violations of technical and sanitary regulations; lack of conformity certificates.

“The people in charge are brought to administrative responsibility, fines are imposed,” concluded the press service.
