Penza, 30 October 2012. PenzaNews. The maniac, who killed over 30 single women of retirement age in the Volga Federal District, may currently be in Penza.

“According to preliminary data, on October 16, the suspect hitchhiked from Virga village, Nizhnelomovsky area to Bekeshskaya St, Penza, where the driver dropped him off somewhere from 9.00 to 9.30,” reported the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal of Russia on Tuesday, October 30.

The ministry specified the features of the man: 30–40 years old, 175 cm tall, medium build, oval face, straight nose, speaks Russian without accent, does not orient himself in Penza and the Penza region.

“The suspect was wearing a long gray jacket with hood fastened with buttons or rivets of light-colored metal, black pants or jeans, black shoes and black knitted hat. He was carrying a black sports bag made of cloth with inset of red-brown color,” the press service clarified.

“Anyone who has any information on the location of the suspect, please report to the police,” the Ministry added.

According to the investigators, the maniac made killed over30 people in the Volga Federal District.

According to operative data, the suspect came to the lonely pensioners under the guise of housing department or social worker, smothered them with a stranglehold, but did not touch any valuable things.

Police managed to compile a sketch of the alleged killer. Presumably, he was in the camera surveillance installed in the entrance hall of one of the victims.

Search of the maniac is operated by the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Volga Federal District.
