Penza Traffic Police inspector accused of fraud

Penza, 2 November 2012. PenzaNews. Officers of interior security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region found a traffic police inspector engaged in fraudulent activities.

According to the press service of the regional administration of the Ministry Internal Affairs, operational and search activities detected that the inspector was engaged in registration of fictitious accident, then he sent the documents to his partners in crime, who later sent them to the insurance company to get payments.

“As a result of the illegal actions the insurance company suffered substantial damage. A criminal case was opened under Part 4, Art. 159 of the Criminal Code “Fraud,” the press service commented.

The ministry added that the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region Alexander Kasimkin decided to dismiss the inspector from law enforcement agency, as well as to hold an official investigation against his supervisors.
