Two women arrested for prostitution in Penza in one day
Penza, 14 November 2012. PenzaNews. Officers of police department No.1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Penza arrested two women, aged 32 and 36, on suspicion of prostitution.
“One of them is an unemployed woman, native of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, living in an apartment on Pushkin St, which was also used as a residence for meetings with her clients,” reported the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region.
The ministry pointed out that on the same day by the house on Pobeda Avenue, a resident of Penza was detained on suspicion of providing sexual services for money.
“Fighting and preventing crimes against the moral values of society, which include prostitution, is one of the important tasks of the police,” the press service noted.
According to the Administrative Code, the detained women are to face fines in the amount of 1,5–2 thousand rubles.
