Penza, 15 November 2012. PenzaNews. The damage caused to agricultural land of the Penza region amounted to nearly 12,9 million rubles according to the data of the past 10 months of 2012. This was reported in the regional administration of the Customer Service of Russia on Thursday, November 15. “83 locations of illegal solid waste dumping occupying the total territory of 25,9 hectares were registered in the Penza region this year,” informed the office.

The press service added that at present 18,9 hectares of land have been cleared, the measures for revegetation have been held.
“As a result of restoration work, we managed to compensate the damage of over 2,8 million rubles. Work on detection of agricultural land damaging continues,” stressed the press service of the Customer Service of Russia in the Penza region.
