Truck hits teenager on pedestrian crossing in Penza

Penza, 29 November 2012. PenzaNews. An eight-year-old school student was injured in a traffic accident that occurred in Rakhmaninov St in Penza.

“On Wednesday, November 28, at 15.30, the driver of KAMAZ, born 1957, hit a minor at pedestrian crossing. The victim was taken to the regional children’s hospital named after N. Filatov with traumatic brain injury and concussion of the brain,” reported the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

According to the ministry, the truck driver was sober.

“The fact is currently under investigation,” the press service explained.
