Penza, 20 December 2012. PenzaNews. 34-year-old resident of Penza was arrested on suspicion of stealing a car VAZ parked near a shop in Saranskaya St on Wednesday, December 19.

“According to the owner of the car, he went into the shop to buy coffee and cigarettes, and did not stop the engine. When he returned, he saw his car starting off with a familiar man in it,” commented the reviewer of non-departmental control service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region Lyubov Pashkova in an interview with news agency “PenzaNews.”

She noted that the car thief crashed into a supporting pole of the gas pipe, and left the car.

“The suspect was arrested based on the distinctive marks, named by the victim. The offender was in a state of intoxication. The case is under investigation,” the agency interlocutor added.
