Criminal case on illegal alcohol sale filed in Penza region

Penza, 9 January 2013. PenzaNews. Criminal case under the Art. 151.1 of the Criminal Code “Retail sale of alcoholic beverages to minors” was filed against a woman having sold beer to an adolescent in Nizhnelomovsky area, the Penza region.

“The reason for filing a criminal case was the fact that this woman was caught by the police twice selling alcohol to teenagers in six months. The woman is facing a punishment of a fine in the amount of 80 thousand rubles, or correctional labor for up to one year,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported in an interview with news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry specified that the officers of the intermunicipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Nizhnelomovsky” registered seven cases of selling alcohol to minors.
