Businessman who sold alcohol to teenager attempted to bribe police officer in Penza

Penza, 10 January 2013. PenzaNews. Individual entrepreneur was arrested when trying to bribe a police officer of the department of juvenile affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Penza for not reporting on the administrative offense under Part 2.1, Art. 14.16 of the Administrative Code “Violation of rules of ethyl alcohol and alcohol-containing products sale, as well as beer and beverages produced on its basis.”

“10 thousand rubles were offered to the police officer when the fact of alcohol having been sold to a teenager, was discovered,” reported the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in an interview with news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry clarified that the businessman was arrested by the officers of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Penza.
