Penza region resident accused of death of his two-month-old daughter

Penza, 21 January 2013. PenzaNews. The charge of causing death of his two-month-old daughter due to negligence was brought to a 29-year-old resident of village Nevezhkino, Belinsky area, the Penza region.
“According to the investigation, in the evening on January 7 a man in a state of intoxication moved around the house, holding a baby in his arms. At one point, he lost his balance and fell, as a result the girl received a closed craniocerebral injury, from which she died shortly after the accident,” the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia told news agency PenzaNews on Monday, January 21.
The ministry clarified that a criminal case was filed according to Part 1, Art. 109 of the Criminal Code “Causing death by negligence,” which provides for either correctional labor for up to two years, or limitation of freedom for up to two years, or imprisonment for the same period.
“The investigation is ongoing,” the press service concluded.
