Over 110 drunk drivers detained during weekend in Penza region

Penza, 21 January 2013. PenzaNews. Over 110 drivers being in a state of alcohol intoxication were arrested in the Penza region during the weekend.

“No traffic accidents caused by the drunk drivers were registered,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region informed news agency PenzaNews on Monday, January 21.

The state traffic police inspection added that 88 intoxicated drivers were arrested on the Epiphany night, on January 18–19.

“Four people were caught driving illegally, as they had previously been deprived of their driver’s license,” the press service pointed out.
