Drunk driver fined 90 thousand rubles in Penza region

Penza, 29 January 2013. PenzaNews. A resident of Kamensky area, the Penza region was fined 90 thousand rubles for attempting to bribe a traffic police inspector.

“It was found that the man was driving while being intoxicated. He offered three thousand rubles to an official for not making a record of an administrative offence, but the official rejected illegal remuneration,” the Senior Assistant Attorney of the region Yuliya Makarova told news agency PenzaNews on Tuesday, January 29.

She specified that the sentence has not entered into force yet, and may be appealed within the statutory period.
